Yesterday I played a bit with power settings of the server. It turns out that lowering the GHz rate has negligible gain when C-states are enabled in full.

Java has an automatic garbage collection; Java projects tend to collect all the garbage in the world.

I suspect that helium-filled HDDs are more durable because nothing inside oxidates. Time will show.
